At the Fairbury Junior/Senior High School, we use MTSS to support academic and behavior needs. Our MTSS team meets weekly to discuss both academics and behavior.

Check In/Check Out
Check In/Check Out is a positive behavior support. Teachers will still be using classroom management and Plan to SOAR procedures, but students who require extra positive behavior support will be selected for the Jefferson CICO Club. Here is how it will work:
Selected students will check in with an assigned staff member at the start of the school day.
The staff member gives the student a CICO card, which focuses on Safe, Organized, Accountable and Respectful behavior.
The CICO card provides a positive way for students to track progress throughout his/her day.
At the end of the school day, the student checks out with an assigned staff member. Student progress is recorded at that time.
At home, parents can ask about the CICO card results.
