At Fairbury Public Schools, we strive to have our students make quality decisions regarding digital citizenship so they can maximize the powerful technology that affects their lives both at school and at home. We also foster a safe, disciplined, educational environment for our students which includes technology utilization, because being a good steward of technology starts with education. Each year, students in grades 3, 6, 7 and 8 will receive at least 4 hours of instruction on how to become a responsible digital citizen using the Common Sense Digital Citizenship curriculum. As a result of this training, students will develop skills that will encourage them to become motivated, self-reliant, productive citizens.
