For many years, the Fairbury Education Association (FEA) has donated time and money to help families within our community during the holiday season with their Light the Way campaign.
This year, FEA members voted to donate all proceeds to help pay delinquent utility bills for students’ families. FEA will be spearheading fundraising efforts through Tuesday December 17th at the home basketball game which is a short two weeks from today! We will put up candles that lead down to the school that night as well. We also will do a presentation at half time, and collect donations. FEA will also be running concessions at the basketball game on the 17th with proceeds going to local electric bills and sponsoring a tailgate with a “Baller Baked Potato Bar” the same night with proceeds going towards FHS student scholarships. And, if you weren’t tempted already, our very own Connie Schouboe is the tailgate mastermind so you KNOW it will be delicious!
Any monetary donation you provide to this family will make a difference in their lives. If you would like to support this cause, please make checks out to FEA (Fairbury Education Association). You may also make a cash donation.
