Nine sophomores & juniors represented FHS at the Southern Nebraska Conference Sportsmanship Summit on Wednesday, September 25. The event occurred at Stone Creek Lodge in McCool Junction. All eleven conference schools were represented. Students broke into groups where they discussed ideas to promote sportsmanship at their schools. Then each group shared with everyone else their ideas. Students also enjoyed listening to the guest speaker, Matt Martin who is a track coach at UNL. Our students enjoyed meeting students from other schools and gaining positive ideas. Stay tuned for what our students are planning to do at FHS to promote sportsmanship!
